Donations

  • The shelter requires $3,000,000 pesos annually (approximately $270,000 USD) to effectively provide for the safety and well-being of the clients.
  • The shelter does not have paid staff members, only volunteers.
  • Donations are urgently needed.  Both monetary and in-kind donations are accepted.
  • In-kind donations most urgently needed at this time include diapers, milk, personal hygiene items, blankets, children’s toys, and construction materials.
  • The shelter is also in need of volunteer labor to assist with building repairs.
  •

Tax deductible donations are accepted through the International Safe Shelter Foundation (ISSF) on behalf of the Centro de Proteccion. The ISSF is a 501(c)3 public charity.
